This is a straight (= all items by the same maker and period), one-owner Set which has been carefully preserved. All parts of this Design Silverware were hand-made in Portugal backed by a Silver-Making Tradition since the Middle Age. While elsewhere in the first third of the 20th Century machine-made Silverware after older designs were flooding the markets Portuguese Silversmith continued to produce fine, handmade Silverware in the old-fashioned way.

This Set of 24 pieces for 12 Persons contains the following items:

12 Dinner Fish Forks (18 cm or 7 inch - Tines of forks are good and hardly used)
12 Dinner Fish Knifes (20,5 cm or 8 inch - light scratches, no dents - blades are from solid Silver as well)
1 old cardboard Storage Box for the complete Set - with dust and signs of use.

Weight of Silverware items is ca. 1160 gr (or 37 1/4 oz). These are heavy and sturdy items, eg. one fish knife weights 50 grams.
