Angelis received a professional art training under Palizzi at the Fine Art School in Naples. For some reasons (probably for living) he received commissions for typical Ship Portraits by Sea Captains. His works depicts steamers as well as sailing vessel and was mainly executed at the end of the 19th century. Information about the artist can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists". |
