Artist:	Angelis, Salvatore de (Italian, 1856-after 1920) - Oilpaintings on canvas and Watercolors
Place:	Worked and lived in Naples, Italy.
Motifs:	Ship Portraits, Marine Scenes, Sea Battles, sometimes with local background (Vesuvius)
Prices:	Ship Portraits (Watercolor) starting at Euro 800 (Continental Europe) or US$ 900 (USA) or BP 500 (Great Britain). His Ship Portraits in Oil are usually more expensive. Notes:	Angelis received a professional art training under Palizzi at the Fine Art School in Naples. For some reasons (probably for living) he received commissions for typical Ship Portraits by Sea Captains. His works depicts steamers as well as sailing vessel and was mainly executed at the end of the 19th century. Information about the artist can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
