Brüggemann (Bruggemann), Hermann (German, 1822 - after1870) - Oilpaintings on canvas.
Place:
Lived and worked in Stralsund, Germany.
Motifs:
Seascapes and a few Ship Portraits

Notes:
Brüggemann received training at the academy in Copenhagen and exihibited his paitings from 1856-1870 at the Academy in Berlin. He preferred to paint romantic marine or harbour scenes, but also a few ship portraits are known. Information about the artist and his oeuvre can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
