Dalager, Mathias Anton (Norwegian, 1797-1837) - Watercolors
Place:
Lived and worked in Trondhejm (Norway) and Stockholm (Sweden).
Motifs:
Ship Portraits, mainly of Scandinavian and Continental Sailing Vessels

Notes:
Dalager developed his father´s (Mathias Ferslew D.) somewhat naive style further and created good quality watercolors, depicting smaller Scandinavian or German sailing vessels. Information about the artist can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
