Fowles, Arthur Wellington (British, 1815-1883) - Oilpaintings on canvas
Worked and lived in Ryde, Isles of Wight, Great Britain.
Seascapes, River Scenes, Ship Disasters, Ship Portraits of Sailing Ships, Yacht Races.

A marine artist and ship portrait painter. He often added the Needles or Eddystone Lighthouse in the background. Although of good artistic quality his paintings often suffer from an extensive cracking and later poor restoration.
