Art Wanted: Sell your 19th Century Ship Portrait

We are looking for works by:

Artist:
Funno, Michele (Italian, active c.1837-1865) - Gouaches on paper
Place:
Worked and lived in Naples, Italy.
Motifs:
Ship Portraits of Sailing Ships and occasionally also of Steamers.
Prices:
Prices starting at Euro 500 (Continental Europe) or $ 650 (USA/Canada). Prices depend on subject, size, date, quality and condition. Please send us an e-mail to receive an exact offer for your painting (free of charge for persons considering to sell their painting).
Notes:
A typical pierhead painter of Naples, who was apparently a relative of Nicola Funno. While the drawing of the ship is accurate the background is often somewhat formalized and a little naive. Sometimes he did also sign "Michele Fondo" and some works are unsigned as well. Information about this artist can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
Contact:
The FineArtEmporium is interested in the direct purchase of fine works by Michele Funno and can pay a good price. Please refer to our page "Contact" and send an e-mail to bais@gmx.de with the information requested there. You will receive an answer usually within 48-72 hours (up to a week in rare cases).
