We are looking for works by:

Harris, James (Harris of Swansea) (British, 1810-1887) - Oilpaintings on canvas
Lived and worked in Swansea, Great Britain.
Seascapes and Maritime Genre Scenes, Ship Portraits of Sailing Vessels
Unfortunately there is no price range available as there were only very few paintings by this artist offered on the art market in recent years. Prices depend on subject, size, date, quality and condition. Harris was a seafarer from 1828-35 and therefore knew the ships and their construction by heart. As a marine artist he was trained by George Chambers and created several fine seascapes and maritime genre scenes.
