His oils are starting at BP 1,200 (Great Britain) or $ 2,000 (USA), watercolors are also offered for lower amounts. Prices depend on subject, size, date, quality and condition. Huggins was a seafarer of the East India Company and started his artistic career in 1815. He created magnificent portraits of the East India Company´s sailing vessels, using a well balanced composition with numerous other shipping and a coastline in the background.
