Jaburg nearly exclusively worked for captains from the area (Bremen) . He used a wide palette of colours and managed to produce a realistic view of the sea, while the ship is depicted under full sail at the open sea with only a small coastline in the distance. Information about the artist and his oeuvre can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists". |
