We are looking for works by:

Jessen, Johann Heinrich (Danish, 1792-1866) - Watercolors
Lived and worked in Apenrade, Denmark
Ship Portraits of Sailing Vessels.
His works are offered only very rarely on the art market. A usual range is not available. Prices depend on subject, size, date, quality and condition. Please send us an e-mail to receive an exact offer for your work by this artist (free of charge for persons considering to sell their painting).
A son of the artist Jes Jessen and sea-captain by profession. He painted very accurtate, sometimes small sized ship portraits and later cooperated with one of the leading Danish artists of his time, Eckersberg.
