Ship Portraits of larger Sailing Vessels.

Notes:
McFarlane is one of the leading artists of the Liverpool School around the middle of the 19th century. His paintings combine great artistic performance and flawless depiction of nautical details. A typical characteristic is a seagull flying over the water in the foreground. Information about the artist and his oeuvre can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
