McIlvenny, William Barrow (British, active c.1880-1895) - Oilpaintings on canvas
Lived and worked in Preston, Great Britain
Ship Portraits of English sailing vessels, mainly of Schooners.

McIlvenny, a pierhead painter of Preston (GB) produced a smaller number of ship portraits that in some respects remind of the style of the Loos paintings, but did not reach that quality. Information about the artist and his oeuvre can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
