Murjahn, Heinrich (German, 1835-1901) - Oilpaintings on board and on canvas
Place:
Worked and lived in Lauenburg, Germany.
Motifs:
Ship Portraits of River Steamers, often with local background.
Prices:

Notes:
Murjahn, a confectioner by profession, started painting in the 1880s. He painted a number of portraits of local river vessels, mostly steamers. His style is somewhat naive, but charming. Information about the artist can also be found in our books "Ship Portrait Artists".
