The son of Joseph R. and the leading artist of this family of marine artists. Marseille harbor is often shown in the background, but he also enriched his compositions with other motifs around or behind the depicted ship. One of his traits is a red touch used in the vessel´s sails. Beware of fakes ore wrongly attributed watercolours, he did not always sign his works.
