Strout, C. (British, active 1880s and 1890s) -Oilpaintings on canvas
Place:
Worked and lived in Falmouth, Great Britain
Motifs:
Ship Portraits of Sailing Vessels, mainly from England.
Prices:
Oilpaintings startings at BP 700 (Great Britain) or Euro 1.000 (Continental Europe) or $ 1,500 (in the USA). Prices depend on subject, size, date, quality and condition. Notes:
The pierhead painter Strout is known through a few paintings in private collections, but biographical notes were so far not obtainable. Information about his oeuvre can also be found in our book "Ship Portrait Artists".
