Note: The wooden Brig "Admirable" was built in 1863 at Prince Edvard Island (Maritime Canada). The dimensions were: Length 105 feet (31,7 m), Breadth 24 feet (7,3 m) and Depth 14 feet (4,3 m) while it could carry a tonnage of 255. It had a square stern and carried a female figure head. The owner was William Henry Williams from Bideford, Devon, UK and the "Admirable" foundered off the Foreland in the Bristol Channel on August 31, 1866.
