Notes:
Apparently the older son of John F. and brother of Henry, he produced a number of well executed portraits of sailing vessels from all over the world. His smooth style is in some respect even more sophisticated than that of Henry. The ship is often portrayed in sunny weather with the Channel coast in the background. Information about the artist can also be found in our books "Ship Portrait Artists".
