Yorke, William Gay (Anglo-American, 1817-ca.1888) - Oilpaintings on canvas
Place:
Lived and worked in Liverpool and (after 1871) in New York.
Motifs:
Ship Portraits, mainly of sailing vessels and also Yachting Scenes
Prices:

Notes:
His style is quite similar to that of his better known son William Howard Y., but some of his earlier works are not as sophisticated and more naive than the ones by William Howard while other works are really excellent (see image below).
